Dr. Christoph Schnellbach is a lecturer at the German Federal Office for Family and Civil Society (BAFzA) and the Geschwister-Scholl-Institute for Political Science at the Ludwigs-Maximilians-University Munich. He holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from the Interdisciplinary Doctoral School of the Andrássy University Budapest (2011) and M.A. in the same field from the Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich (2007). In the past, he was Junior Research Fellow at the Danube-Institute for Interdisciplinary Research. His research interests comprise European integration, EU enlargement, minority policy, democracy analysis, NGOs and intermediate actors, with a regional focus on East-Central Europe.
